The Story

One of the top 50 food trucks in America

Karnage Asada started as the brainchild of Marty and Donna Oard in 2013. Two home chefs who saw an opening and went after it with marketing, project management, logistics, beer, and sheer hustle, building the fastest growing food truck brand Virginia had ever seen.

Native Southern Californians, they knew there was a niche for fresh, on-the-go flash-fried tacos, chips, and burritos. They partnered with breweries like Young Veterans and O'Connor and started a fusion revolution of tacos and beer. Thursday nights outside Smartmouth Brewery in Ghent. A staple at First Fridays in Downtown Norfolk. And then the honor that said it all: named one of the top 50 food trucks in America.

After branding two trucks, the Oards made a family decision to move on to new adventures. The trucks and equipment were sold. What remains is the brand they built, and they're ready to pass it to the right owner.
